Beloved Denver French Restaurant Announces It Will Close

Noisette, a French restaurant and bakery in Denver, will close in June, chefs and owners Tim Lu and Lillian Cho announced Thursday.Opened in 2022, Noisette earned Michelin recommendations in 2023 and 2024. Unfortunately, the eatery has been hit with financial hardship, and as a result, will serve its final customers on June 14.Lu and Cho shared the unfortunate news in a statement on social media yesterday. “This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one we did not make lightly,” the statement read. “From the beginning, our goal was to bring a wonderful dining experience to Denver–one rooted in French tradition, warm hospitality and a deep love of food. We are proud of what we built and profoundly grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and kindness we’ve received from all of you.”Unfortunately, like many in our industry, we’ve faced ongoing challenges in the current economic climate that have made it unsustainable for us to continue. While we’re sad to say goodbye, we are also filled with gratitude for the memories and moments we’ve shared with our guests and team.”

Customers now have three weeks left to enjoy Noisette’s collection of baguettes, caviar crepes and pastries, as well as traditional French dishes like beouf “bourguignon,” and canard (duck).”Chefs Tim Lu and Lillian Cho earned their chops in some of New York’s top restaurants but thankfully chose Denver to open their own place,” said the 2024 Michelin guide. “Sophisticated and spacious with a separate patisserie up front, the dining room is elegant, but the real draw is the precisely crafted dishes bound by tradition while reflecting a creative approach.”You can find Noisette’s official website right here.
